purchased for a jungle theme baby shower as my "card" - super cute. Only wish they had some board books because these are so easy for kids to tear. Cute classic story any mom and child loves. Nice colors for the drawings. Great prices book.
These Disney Little Golden Books are a good compact book choice for traveling. The story is fairly long. I will say that when the major events of the Lion King are highlighted you realize how many animals die at the hands of family members.
Book pages out in backwards so pages don’t lay correctly. My daughter bought the same one and was the same. I threw away and bought one at Barnes and Nobel.
Great book for fans of the movie. I got it for my 6yr old son. He hasn't seen the movie yet but I wanted to see his reaction when Mofasa dies. Turns out he didn't like the book. Too sad and dark for him.

There is nothing to not love about the Little Golden Books. Just like I remember them. Very well illustrated and true to the story.
Three year old loves it. Good synopsis in a short story form.
